like using my credit card for
online orders, can I pay by any

Why would I
want a personalised
calendar?
For lasting memories. The family,
the Disney holiday, the wedding,
pictures of when you were young,
your horses, cars, motorcycles,
your hobby such as fishing,
flying etc. Everyone has a shoe
box full of pictures hidden in a
wardrobe somewhere. Get them out
and share them with friends and
family on a calendar.
Can I add my
own event reminders such as mum's
birthday?
Absolutely, otherwise these
calendars would not be personal.
Add as many events as you wish,
but keep each event reminder as
short as possible.
Can I add my
own caption under each
photo?
Yes, add a description or a funny
caption to each photo.
When will I
receive my order?
All orders are shipped within
seven working days. Contact
us if you require an express
service.
What if I'm not
happy with the
quality?
If the calendars are badly
printed or the binding is of
inferior quality, We will reprint
them or refund your money - and
fire some of our staff. If you
are not happy with your calendars
because the photos did not turn
out as expected, we cannot accept
responsibility for that. Always
select your photos carefully.
Although we always will attempt
to improve bad images, submitting
a fuzzy dull photo will not
magically turn into a
photographic master piece.
What happens if
my order is lost in the
post?
When we post an order and are in
possession of a Royal Mail
receipt, our part of the contract
to produce your calendar has been
fulfilled and we cannot accept
liability when your order is
lost. All orders are insured for
up to £32.00. If Royal Mail
fails to deliver within ten days
of our confirmed date of posting,
you must contact us and request a
reprint. If your order value is
higher than £32.00 you may
purchase extended insurance for
£3.50.
The quality of
my photos are not very good -
what happened?
Sometimes, it is not always
apparent that a photo is not very
sharp or has bad colours, until
it is enlarged. We always do our
utmost best to digitally enhance
images which have imperfections,
but it is impossible to
completely repair a bad image.
Always check your photos
carefully before selecting your
choice.
I don't have
digital pictures - can I send you
printed photos?
Yes. We will scan these on our
heavy-duty Heidelberg drum
scanner and return them to you
with your order. However, there
is an additional charge of
£20.00 which includes
scanning up to 25 photos. If
these photos are very valuable
(original prints of your
grandparents etc.) and to prevent
loss in the post, have these
scanned locally and supply us
with the image files instead.
Call
us if you need help.
If I send in
printed photos, will I get them
back?
All supplied material and disks
are returned to you with your
order. We keep an electronic copy
which makes reordering quick and
easy.
Do you provide a
pre-print proof?
Only with very large orders.
You should ensure that all
supplied information and personal
dates are correct. If you still
require a pre-print proof, you
may order one at the time of
placing your order. There is a
cost element of £5.00 to
cover this and this will be added
to your order.
Do you accept
pdf files instead of
photos?
Yes. You may also design your own
calendar, Slim line A3 and A3.
Supply your designs as PDFs.
What type of
files do you accept?
Pretty much any type of image
file, including PDFs.
How do I submit
my images to you?
You may upload them directly from
this site, or you may attach them
to an email to us, or you may
burn them onto a CD and post this
to us.
Do you offer a
gift-wrap service?
Yes. We can gift-wrap each
calendar and deliver it directly
to the recipient. An additional
fee of £2.50 per calendar
will be charged.
Can I submit my
own calendar design?
Yes. You should submit it to us
in PDF format.
How long have
you been in
business?
We have been active in the
printing industry since 1985,
trading as Inprint based in
Barking, Essex. In 1997 we began
promoting our products on the
Internet which led to the
formation of X9 Internet, now
offering web hosting to more than
25,000 sites. In 2004, Active
Print Limited was formed to
solely promote and produce
digitally printed products.
How safe is
your ordering
system?
It is completely safe. Once you
have completed your order, you
are taken to the PayPal site
where you complete the payment
section. PayPal's site uses
128bit encryption. Your card
details cannot be intercepted by
a scammer, hacker or anyone
else.
How do I know I
will get my goods after I paid
online?
The risk of purchasing online and
the seller defaulting on the
purchase is very rare thanks to
policies put in place by banks
and online payment processors
like PayPal, who will compensate
a buyer under such circumstances.
We have chosen PayPal to process
your payment.
Do you offer a
returns policy?
Our products are made to order
and cannot be returned unless
faulty or of inferior quality. We
do offer a money
back guarantee.
Do you accept
orders from around the
world?
We chiefly promote our products
to the UK and European market,
but are able to ship world-wide.
Please contact
us to request a shipping
quote to countries outside the
EU.
What currencies
do you accept?
All online payments are processed
by PayPal who accept most
currencies.
I really do not
like using my credit card for
online orders, can I pay by any
other means?
We accept cheques made payable to
Active Print.
